T-ara’s Hyomin and Jiyeon will be debuting as solo artists, possibly around the middle of this coming April.
According to music affiliates, both Hyomin and Jiyeon have confirmed their solo debuts (in which they will be coming back as T-ara afterwards), and are currently working on their songs to include in their debut albums.
Both Hyomin and Jiyeon were in T-ara’s unit, T-ara N4 last April, however this will be their first time as solo artists since their debut in 2009.
According to a concerned party, Jiyeon will be working with producers Duble Sidekick, along with Sunmi’s stylist on her solo debut, and Hyomin will be working with producer Brave Brothers and T-ara’s stylist.
Currently, it has not yet been decided if the two will be debuting as solo artists around the same time period, or if they will be debuting at different times.
However asides from their debut timing, fans are more curious as to what musical genre they will be debuting with, and whether they will be able to survive among the tough competition, as many other girl group members have been making solo debuts, such as SISTAR’s Hyorin, 4minute’s Hyuna, Brown Eyed Girls’ Gain and former Wonder Girls’ member, Sunmi.
As of now, we’ll just have to wait until they make their solo debut to find out.
